讀原版小說的確是很有挑戰的一件事，不光對你們而言，對研究生，甚至老師也是如此。生詞太多，難句太多都讓人興趣索然。但是，萬事開頭難，就像完成人生中的第一個一千五長跑，讀第一本原版也是最難熬的。但如果你能夠堅持讀完一本原版小說，那麼今後再讀原版小說時，就會輕松很多。
怎麼讀？
生詞當然要查，但不需要每次遇到生詞都查。不少單詞雖然不認識，但可以通過上下文猜出大概詞義的就不需要查。只有當生詞真正影響到對整體理解的時候才去查。而對於這種攸關全文理解的單詞就可以成為你積累的重點詞彙，想方設法在寫作和口語表達中用出去，成為自己的積極詞彙。
另外，原版中出現的一些長難句，可以通過語法分析，找出主幹，理解含義。如果確實理解困難，也可以藉助網路搜索到中文譯文，再消化理解，找出自己的知識盲區。而原版中出現的漂亮句子和表達，可以記下來，仿寫其結構，寫作時就可以移花接木，變成自己的高質量句子了。
此外，Notebook有改編成電影，先看電影或許可以幫助理解原文。

我認為你不用把這么個問題搞復雜化，怎樣閱讀當然是按照你自己的方式閱讀。不用糾結那麼多。我就是看完算數，至於生字詞該怎麼處理，需要畫出 什麼的，就是看你自己了，想背就背，不想被就不背。習題主要是考察你又沒有看懂文章，想做就做，不做也沒什麼關系。閱讀水平我沒有去為了提高而去看小說。看書蟲完全是自己的一種興趣，當休閑用的。如果要提高閱讀水平的話，還不如買一本英語閱讀書來做做，不是更直接嘛？
