是父親，鼓勵我茁壯成長；是父親，幫助我度過難關；是父親，引領我不斷進步；是父親，讓我體會愛的溫暖。在我心中，父愛不是什麼驚天動地的大事，而是從點點滴滴的小事中自然顯露出來的。
那是一個寒冬臘月的傍晚。父親跟往常一樣騎車接我回家。大風狂哮著迎面吹來，路邊的行人都縮緊了脖子，空曠的馬路上只有父親彎著腰，帶著我，艱難地踩著自行車。盡管爸爸像一堵牆似地擋在前面，我在後座上還是被寒風吹得瑟瑟發抖。
不一會兒，雪從陰雲密布的天幕中疾馳而下。「太冷了，咱先找個地方暖和一下吧！」我用發顫的聲音說。父親急忙停下車，摸了摸我的手，又看了看天。「這雪一時半會兒恐怕停不下來，咱們再堅持一下好不好？很快就到家了。」說著，父親脫下外套披在我的身上，又騎上了車。在父親溫暖的大外套下，我終於覺得身上有了暖和氣兒。但我忽然想到，爸爸幫我擋風，還穿這么少……。於是我在風中大聲問：「爸，您也冷吧，外套還是給您吧？」「兒子，老爸騎車熱著呢！」父親在風中大聲地回答我。
雪越下越大，風越來越猛。車輪開始打滑，我們在風雪中顯得寸步難行。我站起來，摟住父親的脖子，手碰上了他的耳朵，啊，可真涼呀！可是，當我順著父親的脖子往下摸，竟然濕漉漉的。原來，父親已累得滿身大汗。路燈下，父親額頭上那晶瑩的露珠，不知是雪水還是汗水。
時間好像凝固了，感覺過了幾個小時，我們終於到了家門口。
打開門，回到溫暖明亮的家。這時，我突然被父親的臉嚇了一跳。那是一張跟平常很不一樣的面孔：嘴唇烏青，耳朵通紅，鼻尖發亮，臉上多了好些皺紋。我第一次發現，父親已蒼老了許多；我第一次注意到，父親的頭頂已被一圈白發包圍了起來；我也第一次體會到，父親為了兒子根本顧不上自己。我的心在微微顫動，鼻子一陣發酸，眼淚只想往眼睛裡涌。男兒有淚不輕彈，這也是父親教我的。我默默走過去，緊緊地撲在父親的懷里，父親則親熱地拍了拍我的背。
父愛就是這么微小而無言，卻溫暖而偉大的。從此以後，只要回想起那個風雪交加的傍晚，我的心中總是湧起一股春天的暖流。
