我只看过书虫的高二难度那一套，是我初中的时候买的...
当时也是看不怎么懂，但是但是，后来越来越学习外语后（大学也一直在学外语），总结出了，阅读双语读物先看中文就毁掉了。应该先看英文，也不会说很多很多单词不认识，经常出现的单词出现后，查词典记住了，在阅读就轻松了，开头是最难的，一定要坚持下去。我把我们老师的建议发给你。

读原版小说的确是很有挑战的一件事，不光对你们而言，对研究生，甚至老师也是如此。生词太多，难句太多都让人兴趣索然。但是，万事开头难，就像完成人生中的第一个一千五长跑，读第一本原版也是最难熬的。但如果你能够坚持读完一本原版小说，那么今后再读原版小说时，就会轻松很多。
怎么读？
生词当然要查，但不需要每次遇到生词都查。不少单词虽然不认识，但可以通过上下文猜出大概词义的就不需要查。只有当生词真正影响到对整体理解的时候才去查。而对于这种攸关全文理解的单词就可以成为你积累的重点词汇，想方设法在写作和口语表达中用出去，成为自己的积极词汇。
另外，原版中出现的一些长难句，可以通过语法分析，找出主干，理解含义。如果确实理解困难，也可以借助网络搜索到中文译文，再消化理解，找出自己的知识盲区。而原版中出现的漂亮句子和表达，可以记下来，仿写其结构，写作时就可以移花接木，变成自己的高质量句子了。
此外，Notebook有改编成电影，先看电影或许可以帮助理解原文。

我认为你不用把这么个问题搞复杂化，怎样阅读当然是按照你自己的方式阅读。不用纠结那么多。我就是看完算数，至于生字词该怎么处理，需要画出 什么的，就是看你自己了，想背就背，不想被就不背。习题主要是考察你又没有看懂文章，想做就做，不做也没什么关系。阅读水平我没有去为了提高而去看小说。看书虫完全是自己的一种兴趣，当休闲用的。如果要提高阅读水平的话，还不如买一本英语阅读书来做做，不是更直接嘛？
